Our narrow profile base plates fit on top of a wall or post (or on the ground). Our base plates are designed to transfer all downward force directly and evenly to the ground. Wide base plates or brackets transfer a good deal of downward force to the bolts.
NARROW PROFILE BASE PLATES GIVE YOU MORE USABLE CUBE INSIDE YOUR BUILDING, i.e. not all 60 foot wide buildings give you 60 feet of usable width. By the time you cover competitors’ base plates to protect against tire damage and personal injury, you could lose as much as 10 percent of the cube you thought you were buying.
Left is an example of our concrete baseplate, notice the interior flange that help distribute the lateral force of the building along the wall.

Left is an example of our wood baseplate, notice how we bolt completely threw the wood post making pull out almost impossible. This is a much better design than our competitors that only offer lag screws to the top of a post.
