Bulk Storage and Composting
Fabric buildings are an excellent option for bulk storage due to their low cost per cubic foot. Plus, there are many other advantages to Span-Tech buildings for grain and bulk storage.
Safely and securely store salt and other corrosive products
All double trusses built by Span-tech are hot-dipped galvanized inside and out and able to withstand the brutal forces of even salt storage. We meet or exceed ASTM requirements for hot-dip galvanization, giving the maximum protection possible for your building. The round tubular truss design on our buildings causes salt to fall down, rather than collect as it would on a square beam, keeping the environment safe and clean.
A Cost per bushel that can’t be beat
Grain Storage – No other storage system will allow you to have 1 million+ bushels of clear span storage for under $1/bushel. Grain Storage buildings for Span-Tech have served two purposes. Grain Storage in the fall and fertilizer storage in the spring. Our tubular construction keeps grain from getting trapped against the ceiling, keeping the work area safe.
Hay and other bulk storage
Hay and other bulk storage – anything you want to keep dry from outside elements and condensation. The support for the covers of our buildings is designed to minimize condensation and keep the interior clean and dry.
Span-tech buildings are designed to fit the angle of repose of most bulk commodities, ensuring that you get the maximum storage capacity with any given width.
Composting
Composting has become more of a choice for livestock producers for an economical and trouble-free way to dispose of mortalities. Span-Tech buildings solve many of the problems people have with proper management of a compost pile. Our buildings provide an excellent environment for composting, while keeping cost low and processing high.
